This discovery seems certain to lead to the way we can turn off the genes in cells that cause disease (thus stopping the disease process). Today, two Americans won the Nobel Prize for Physics. Makes me wonder... if Americans are so damn smart (which they obviously can be) who are all those idiots who still write checks at the grocery store?
