Read all about it Give our Lying War on Terror President a big handshake; the blood of a 12 year-old girl is on his hands. His administration's failure to secure our borders has allowed another murderer to take the life of an innocent American child. Liar, megalomaniac, panderer to the Mexicans while not able to care less about Americans (he cares so little), protector of murderers and drug traffickers, and complete idiot to boot... that is our president... that is who is responsible for leaving our borders open like a sieve for this murderer to take this child's life.

Read all about it Iran confirms an "adulterer" (the definition of adulterer in the dark aged middle east is flimsy; he could have flirted by accident with a married woman and he'd be an adulterer) has been stoned to death. The last time organized Christians treated people this way, as far as I know, was Salem Masachussetts, 1610. Amazing what a few hundred years can do for civilized people. I guess that means the Isalmists are uncivilized. I'll say it, as there is absolutely fucking evidence to the contrary.

Read all about it Another beautiful young woman has been murdered--and we'll likely find out 'raped and..'--by someone who forced her into a car. No matter the gun, the knife, or the threats of the monster, fight, kick, scream, yell, throw your body onto the ground, bite, go for the eyes, use your arms and legs to obstruct passage through a car doorway. Fight so hard he's gotta try to kill you right there or leave. The chances are, he's not going to do the former, and will do the latter, which means you get away. But chances are, if you go, you're dead anyway. And heaven help us let's not think of what happens to you in between. Fight ladies, FIGHT.

But alas, most of us live on planet earth and accept responsibility for our actions. This moron blames the microwaving of her 2 month old daughter by her mentally ill husband on Satan. So who or what do we blame for HER having a BABY with such a demoniacally possessed individual and then leaving said baby alone with him/it? Hmmm? I'd love to wring this f-ing bitch's neck!

Read all about it But when I first heard about the British girl missing from the Portuguese vacation villa, I immediately thought of the parents. I totally sloughed that off as that seemed like a ridiculous first assumption; these tragedies happen, unfortunately (which is an incredible understatement), even to good parents. However, today I read the following:
McCann vanished May 3 after her parents left her, and her brother and sister, both aged 2, alone while they went to a nearby restaurant within their hotel complex at Praia da Luz, a vacation resort in Portugal's Algarve region.
Now, I realize the parents could just be massive idiots. But who in the hell leaves a 3 year old with TWO 2 year-olds alone in a hotel room while they jet out to eat at a restaurant? Either their horrendous parenting caused this poor child's disappearance by giving a monster opportunity, or they themselves are the cause. Personally, I don't think any sane parent on this earth would have done this, and this makes me wonder about my first suspicion. It's just too much of a coincidence that a monster found this girl alone when the parents happened to be out and about. Three children three and under alone in a hotel room? JFC I just don't even know what to say.

Not only that, this issue has been studied twice. I'd really like to know how this ever came up. At the big grant approval agency in the sky, someone actually went before some board up there and said, "We'd like to study whether warts can be eliminated with duct tape." To which the board replied, "Brilliant! Here's two trillion dollars. What a brilliant idea! This must be studied, and the sooner, the better!"

Read all about it So kids, you think it's glamorous to be a rock and roll star; what a lifestyle, right? Well, maybe not so much. Or, shall I say, maybe for just a wee little bit o'time. Yeah yeah, who wouldn't like to have as much tail as they can get their hands on for 20 years; all the sex, drugs, and more sex, drugs you can get. And I do realize, kids, that to you, life ends at 35. So seein' a 52 year-old man who looks 80-eh? What's the difference, right? But kids, I assure you, this is NOT what you should look like at 52; think Sophia Loren (HOT! And she's like, 90!). Think Demi Moore; not far from 52, kids. Not far at all. This photograph is of one Eddie Van Halen; the hottest rock and roll star for decades, a giant in the world of guitarists, and who is entering rehab for the nth time and really looks like hell, folks. Really.

Read all about it A teacher sends a text message about a "drug deal" to a state trooper by mistake... I would find this pretty laughable, but with an additional read, I find the poor teacher was just trying to get some weed. Pot! A damn plant, okay people? And she's being charged with "conspiracy to traffic in controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia." I can't believe how much time and effort we waste in locking people up who just want marijuana. It makes absolutely no sense when our "justice" system lets cretins like the one pictured below freely roam our streets after committing several violent felonies. In the meantime, cops are quite busy chasing innocent human beings who just want to relax in the confines of their own homes with a plant that is one trillionth as poisonous to the human body as alcoholic beverages. So while this cretin roamed our streets with impunity and murdered an utterly innocent, heroic man who was a loving husband and father of two twin girls, thousands of pot smokers were imprisoned for years of their lives.

Feel safer?

Read all about it A former auctioneer and father of 12 (yes, 12) was shopping with his wife at a department store when he told her he was going to grab a quick coffee somewhere, not to be seen again for five years. When the man submitted a rental application, the police received word of this missing person's location. They went to interview him, and essentially, he just doesn't want to be found. Mrs. McFly denies that the man they found is him, that she won't believe it's him unless she can talk to him. He doesn't want to talk to her... Well it all sounds plausible and reasonable that someone could have stolen his identify, the police made a mistake in identifying him, yadda yadda. However, then we learn he has done this before. In a fabulous case of living on the river DeNial, she says of the most recent disappearance:
"We were very close and we did everything together, every day. I don't know what to think, I still feel something happened to him -- why would he be in Pennsylvania and not call us? I mean that's not that far away."
Now, I don't know what could have happened between Mr. & Mrs. McFly that would make Mr. McFly feel this burning desire to vanish while getting coffee not once--but twice. One telling clue is Mrs. McFly's statement that they did everythign together every single day. That's enough to make one feel like they're living with a pillow pasted over one's head just a millimeter short of suffocation. And given the fact that he disappeared one other time under the exact same circumstances:
"We then began to dig into the history of Mr. Van Tassel and learned that he did a similar thing and was missing in another part of the country a year previously," said a detective working on the case.
In the earlier disappearance, he also told his wife he was going for coffee. His abandoned truck was found weeks later in Ohio, and Van Tassel was found 72 days later at a homeless shelter in Iowa.
At the time, family members blamed his disappearance on stress and a lack of business at his 32-year-old company, Van Tassel's Auctions.
...you have to wonder how Mrs. McFly still seems to have absolutely no clue why Mr. McFly wanted to flee so badly he was willing to let his entire family think he is dead. Maybe that very blind eye is just one of the reason.

And the 12,000,000th way is to light oneself on fire. Only the insane will choose that option. It makes me scratch my head to wonder how or why a news organization would give legitimacy to this bizarre act by calling it a "protest." Pleeeeze... the man is completely insane. Think not? Read all about it In our continuing effort to control people's behavior (which, as we saw from fallen evangelist Tom Haggard, it can't be done), another human being's life meets a violent end. As it turns out, the groom who was gunned down in New York City might have been caught in the "crossfire" of the war on drugs and sex. For some reason, there are idiots out there who think all you have to do is spend billions of dollars a year and ruin, oh, just a handful of lives, and the war on drugs is--has been--won. This story shows how this delusion couldn't be farther from the truth. So, anti-drug people, are you totally comfortable with the fact that an innocent young man about to be married has been gunned down for your war? Are you totally comfortable that a 92 year-old woman has been gunned down for your war? Forget Iraq...we've got the body count piling up right here at home.

Read all about it Another life has been ended violently and far too young by a madman who has maimed and murdered before. A monster was released from prison this past March where he had served 29 years for murdering a 5 year-old boy and seriously injuring his mother by stabbing her too. This monster has struck again. You read that correctly; a 5 year-old child was slaughtered by a monster, his mother nearly murdered, and such a creature was set free upon society again. Predictably, this creature has shattered countless more lives with the murder of a young 16 year-old two weeks ago. Again, you've got it right, you're not going crazy, but I'll repeat it again in case I've lost ya'... A monster was released from prison in March after having murdered a precious 5 year-old boy and nearly murdering his mother, then committed another heinous act of violence and murder within 7 months of his release. After 29 years, the creature's urge to murder and maim had not been eliminated. There is only one logical conclusion; all murderers, all rapists, all child molesters, and all other classifications of violent criminals should be locked away FOREVER. Let them rot in prison. I don't even care if we gas 'em; just lock them up and keep them away from our families. That's the only way to stop this carnage. Terrorism amongst and by our own inhabitants should be ONE STRIKE YOU'RE OUT!

Read all about it From reading this blog, you might think I'm some right-wing, Christian, 'family-values', anti-whatever with black helicopter defense systems built into the roof of my bomb shelter. At least you might think that until you find the posts about decriminalizing marijuana. The reality is, I'm just about dead center between the left and the right. The right abhors the liberalization of drugs, which I strongly support; the right abhors choice (related to abortion, and for that matter, what I do to my body in any respect...drugs, whatever) which I strongly support; the right abhors or wishes to weaken separation of church and state, with which I strongly disagree. I don't support the Iraq war; I don't support the Patriot Act; I could go on and on. But here's where the right beats the left hands down...HYPOCRISY. The left touts freedom of speech, unless it's "hate speech", the definition of which they conveniently own. They fiercely defended Clinton when he so obviously lied under oath and committed "sexual harrassment" as--again--defined by the left themselves, and then go after a gay Congressman whose misdeeds were decidedly less despicable. The left touts tolerance, unless it is of a viewpoint with which they decide is repugnant. This article soundly supports everything I state above. CBS / Katie the Bitch Couric decided to allow a so-called right wing person to comment on their beloved evening news show. Those comments caused Katie the Bitch Couric to state later that "some might find the comments repugnant." Really? Know how many millions of Americans find your flavor of left-wing bias "repugnant"? No? Well, millions! Here are the comments Ms. Bitch Couric decided some Americans might find "repugnant" (the son of the man making these comments was murdered in the Columbine school shooting):
Since that day, I tried to answer the question why did this happen? This country is in a moral free fall. For over two generations, the public school system has taught in a moral vacuum, expelling God from the school and from the government, replacing Him with evolution, where the strong kill the weak without moral consequences. And life has no inherent value.
We teach there are no absolutes, no right or wrong. And I assure you, the murder of innocent children is always wrong, including by abortion.
Abortion has diminished the value of children. Suicide has become an acceptable action and has further emboldened these criminals. And we are seeing an epidemic increase in murder/suicide attacks on our children.
Sadly, our schools are not safe. In fact, we now witness that within our schools, our children have become a target of terrorists from within the United States.
Will someone tell me how valuing human life is repugnant? I strongly believe and find evidence everyday of the fact that evolution occurred, and so I strongly disagree with Mr. Rohrbough that evolution should not be taught. I do not agree that teaching evolution devalues human life. I believe evolution gave us human life as we know it. I am also pro-choice, but I understand why many people are not. Still, I clearly understand the fact that while my beliefs are polar to Mr. Rohrbough's, it does not make Mr. Rohrboughs beliefs repugnant. Rabid muslim extremists slaughtering innocents is repugnant. The baptists who protest funerals with the twisted belief that all bad things happen because gay people exist is repugnant. But it simply cannot be "repugnant" to try to find answers for the reasons that children seem to be the number one target against which the insane are exacting their demented visions of revenge and rage. It is not repugnant to wonder: If our high schoolers were taught day in and day out "Thou Shalt Not Kill" instead of "you shouldn't judge people", might these scenes of carnage not have taken place? What left-wing powder puff finds such thoughts "repugnant"? Both the left and the right have the presumption of owning the moral high. However, the left criticize and mocks the right for doing it because the left is so certain their stance really is the correct one and all others are utterly invalid, at best, flat out evil at worst. I have a news flash...you should have stopped believing that you know everything as soon as there was no -teen in the latter half of your age spelled out in letters. You should have learned by now that no human, NO human, has all the answers nor the key to the correct way the Earth should exist. And you should live by your own tolerance mantras to be TOLERANT of differing viewpoints, not repulsed. When the right wingers start tossing babies into the volcanoes to ease God's wrath, then you can be repulsed. But not until then. And shoot, maybe even then you might find your multiculturalism could not shun such a practice...Mr. Rohrbough is right about this part; anything goes in LiberalLand, except conservative beliefs.

Read all about it This is as liberal a spin as any I've seen; and it's on Foxnews.com no less. It is basically a small diatribe about how the government, and schools, and government programs are failing to address the growing issue of obesity in children. I have been to a number of baseball games this year. You know what I see at every single game? Parents and children. You know what the children are eating? Peanuts. Cotton candy. Gigantic hot dogs. Nachos. All at the same game! There's a pudgo family who sits behind us who sits there and orders this stuff constantly from the in-seat service (these are club seats I'll have you know...thanks iGanja!). From the minute the National Anthem is done to the final pitch in the 9th inning, this family is eating eating eating. The daughter, who appears to be about 10, is already just plain fat. Their son is on his way (he appears to be about 8). So I'd like some liberal nutball to tell me how a government program or a teacher or a school can counter a family like that. What, you're going to beat the kids up all day while the idiotic parents stuff their faces all night? How's that going to help? If that mother can't see what a fat pig her daughter is, no school program will change that. No amount of funding, no nothing. Who knows where this fat-kid 'epidemic' will stop, if it ever does. But I assure you, until parents like that wake the fuck up, it definitely will not. And no government program will wake them the fuck up either, I am certain.

Read all about it So, imagine, you've just killed your wife. That could be the start of a bad day. Then you cut her head off, and in the process of taking the head to its hiding place, you crash your car and the head flies out the back; all while a local police officer observes the crash and the head as it goes flying out of the car. How does your day get worse? You just killed two people (a mother and child, no less) in the crash and so you will also be charged with double vehicular homicide, in addition to the plain old homicide of your wife. The only day that will be worse than yesterday for this guy is the day his pro bono defense attorney tries to find a sympathetic jury.

Read all about A family court judge was gunned down in Nevada. Now, gee, folks, what on EARTH would possess someone to gun down a family court judge? Hmmm. I could count the ways but there isn't enough available disk space on the MWB servers to complete such an exercise. But the tip of the iceberg might be ...handing down sweeping (and fucking unfair, I might add) declarations about the several year history between two people from the high horse of a family court pulpit with nary a review of the facts And the straw on the camel's hump might be ...holding an ex spouse hostage and slave to the whims and irresponsibilities of the other ex, which completely inhibits that person from moving on with their new lives in any meaningful way. Maybe these are just a few of the reasons a gunman fired upon a family court judge in Nevada.

Read all about it The Dixie Bitches are so self-important and ridiculous at the same time. We all remember how they tried to create some sort of a sistahood with a European audience, and so they pronounced to their crowd something like “you know we’re ashamed the president comes from Texas [like we do].” Gee, Dixie Geniuses, in spite of how much we Americans are mocked over our geography ignorance, try asking a European to point to Texas on a map. They would probably point at California. Regardless, they’re at it again. They have the nerve to mock Buddy Holly, one of the greatest rock and roll stars in the history of rock and roll, in a song on their new album: "I hear they hate me now Just like they hated you. Maybe when I'm dead and gone I'm gonna get a statue, too." Buddy Holly, like the Dixie Bitches, is from Lubbock and, unlike the Dixie Bitches, has a statue in downtown Lubbock. The only difference? When the Dixie Bitches are dead and gone, hardly anyone will care. Still, Buddy Holly’s brother Travis responds: "He was loyal to his hometown, his church and his family. And I never knew of anyone who hated Buddy." And the Dixie Genius Bitches say the song... "...is not just about Lubbock, but about any small, hypocritical town." And I guess the Dixie Bitches get to decide what small, hypocritical towns are all about, and I wonder what a hypocritical “town” is, anyway. What the hell is a hypocritical town? And how having a statue of Buddy Holly in Lubbock is hypocritical is a mystery to me. Buddy Holly fans are still here, fascinated by and adoring of Buddy, even with a career cut so tragically short by that infamous plane crash. I say we try an experiment; let’s kill all the Dixie Bitches off, and see if anyone gives a rat’s ass about them 50 years from now. I’d bet you $100 the answer is “NO”...even 5 years from now.

Read all about it The FoxNews headlines are "Riots Rock Paris"; and on CNN, "Massive Protest in France" with a subheading describing the tear gas and water cannons required to keep the crowds in line. Contrast this with the 500,000 people who led a peaceful demonstration against illegal immigration reform in Los Angeles. I am totally opposed to illegal immigration; I couldn't diagree with these demonstrators more. And frankly, I was pissed off because I was caught in the snarl of traffic created by the demonstrators as they waived at cars on the 101. Fortunately, I had a very pleasant riding companion (mon cher David). HOWEVER, it was peaceful. 500,000 people in Los Angeles lined a very busy freeway, and very busy streets, rallying against a very controversial and divisive issue, as is their right to do so. This is an issue that strikes people at their cores; most are probably here due to illegal immigration (if not this generation, the last one). And still, it was peaceful. Those 500,000 demonstrators were more behaved than 5,000 Lakers fans after a World Championship (win or lose). MWB hats (and Michela has many) are off!

Read all about it A so-called revolutionary woman dies, and these are the best things people have to say about her upon her death. Says Friedan's son Jonathan: "Betty was not the perfect mother..." Nice. But he was okay with her rotten mothering when thousands cheered her at a rally. Hitler could sure work a crowd, so could Stalin. Soooo having people cheer for you at a rally is not exactly a life accomplishment to boast about, unless being an infamous dictator was your goal. Especially when you preface such an achievement with the fact that said person was a rotten mother. Then there's the quip from her daughter: "She made so many connections and yet was exquisitely lonely...Maybe the ultimate contradiction was that Betty just didn't fit into this world. That was her curse, and yet she started a revolution." There just aren't many accomplishments great enough to make me willing to sacrifice my life and children such that the pathetic statements above are the best someone could say about me when I die. No matter what revolution she started, she was a pitable human being, and the reason she wrote a "feminist manifesto" is because she was miserable. And she wasn't miserable because the "patriarchy" was holding her down. Just like angry feminists who follow her today, with the glass ceiling shattered and the bras lying in ashes, they're miserable because they are just miserable people. And even if they ruled the world with all men at their feet they'd be miserable.

Read all about it To quote one of my favorite lines from the Sopranos (it's a scene where Janice, forced into anger management classes when she beats the crap out of a soccer mom, starts a fight with a black lady in the same class and a brown-clad UPS guy also in the class says "This is fucking priceless." The scene, alas, is truly priceless as well). The Frogs and Krauts with their newly-found balls have triggered worldwide protests, threats of kidnappings, and no doubt violence, all because they printed that silly cartoon of Muhommad. I LOVE it. It shows those degenerate, dark-age monsters for what they are. So locked in the insanity of their own religion they're willing to destroy real human beings for decidedly small infractions against the same said religion. Do those muslim boobs have any brains at all or are they just really just little coyotes wandering around in packs killing every other little mammal for the slightest pinky claw step into their wild territories? If they're not, they should fucking stop acting like they are.

Not only that, she has the nerve to stand in front of a church and call an administration with a Latino Attorney General, a black Secretary of State, and numerous others, a plantation? She has the audacity to say this administration failed the Katrina victims as billions and billions and billions pour into this area which was ultimiately failed by those responsible for its protection? Read all about it There are very few examples of Christians and Jews running around this world with machetes hacking up four Muslim schoolgirls, simply for being Muslim. Maybe even zero examples. Oh sure, Christianity has a helluva history. Crusades, slavery in the early colonies of the United States, mistreatment of Native Americans. A) The Crusades was a thousand fucking years ago. The world was a dark place in the Dark Ages, that's why they call them the Dark Ages. Clear on A? Proceed to B. B) It was a humble Christian woman named Harriet Beecher Stowe who wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin which brought serious momentum to the anti-slavery sentiment. Has anybody heard one peep out of the Muslims to end massacres? Have you seen the book Mohammad Stops the Murder? No? Not written yet? Where's the reform movement to end this slaughter? Clear on B? Proceed to C) C) Same as B...by and large, Christians were not supportive of this mistreatment, they were complacent. Just like modern Muslims. And there hasn't been a country in this world who has kindly treated the indigineous peoples; not holier-than-thou Canada, not Australia, not France...ever heard of Haiti? Know why they speak French there? End of story.

Read all about it This is one of the most depressing things I've read. I remember the last time I saw the stomach-turning sight of a very dazed and stoned prostitute. I felt a wave of gratitude that whatever it was in this woman's past, a past likely much darker and more traumatizing than simple drug addiction, it wasn't my past. I had the good fortune to avert the horror which leads to a person such a life. I think too often we dismiss them, and the reason for the state of their current lives as drug addiction, but I know and have known a lot of drug addicts, and nary a one became a street prostitute. For those who do stumble into that life, sure, that's where it ended. Drug addiction, prostitution. But where did it start? Reading this article, I think, Jesus Christ, what lies in store for these children? Their parents, every adult in their such young lives has sold them into sexual slavery, how can they recover? This is a rare time you'll see Michela say, dear god, just pray for these pour souls, and the others like them who have not been rescued.

Read all about it No fan of illegal immigration, friends will be surprised to hear me say that children born on US soil should maintain their rights as US citizens. I'm also no fan of the old slippery slope defense, you know, when one says if you change this thing that really should be changed, well, then it's just a short pebble skip to many more changes that shouldn't be changed so you shouldn't change the thing that should change because it makes it too easy to then change the things that shouldn't be changed. Follow? (You're surpirsed to hear nobody ever suggested I write a legal textbook...) But it does seem clear if you alter the 14th ammendment to eliminate the chance for kids born here to be US citizens, well, there's no telling what a future corrupt government could do with the concept of citizenship. This issue shows why the constitution should not be a living document, and here's where it could bite liberal idealogies in the ass. If you interpret the constitution as a living document, and mold it to solve or prevent the problems of the current day, this is what you get; conservative whackadoos trying to solve the problem of illegal immigration with a current-day interpretation of the 14th ammendment. You solve illegal immigration by stopping it, not by reinterpreting the constitution and revoking rights guaranteed by it.

Read all about it Unfortunately for you, me, consumers everywhere, and the union employees themselves, the latest warnings that the big unions are in trouble and perhaps headed towards demise is just another chicken little cry. This story describes in-fighting, political problems, and legal problems of the largest union in the US today. Um, 'scuse me, but doesn't this describe the state of the unions since 1920? I do not believe Jimmy Hoffa was fed to the fishes (or the stadium parking lot, as the case may be) because the Union's family harmony was as strong as the Brady Bunch in the last 30 seconds of any episode. Nor would this be the first time the unions have faced significant investigations by the federal government, nor the first time its members are dissatisfied with the results they receive. However, since the few remaining very highly paid unskilled labor jobs (liquor, longshoreman, car manufacturing) which remain in the US are strangleheld by unions, that no single person has the choice not to belong to a union to work in one of these union jobs, the death knell is a little premature. Indeed, the satisfaction with unions by their own members have been waning since the 70's. Other than a few exceptionally choice meats--such as longshoremen--the benefits union receive for their huge union dues is small. They have free health care, but uh, 'scuse me again you blind union members, you're paying $100 a month for this freebie, and you're starting to be able to do the math even though you went to California Public Schools. The members see that when they go on strike for the newest and future members of the unions (grocery store strikes) they lost big; the grocery stores lost little money (since they weren't paying fat cat union wages and benefits for so long) and people still shopped and didn't really care. Further, why should they care about the future snot-noses when they have a family to feed today? Retirement, the other sacred cow of the unions, is proving to be a lost ghost as well. While the unions have managed to previously brainwash their masses that their retirement plans are better, safer, blah blah, anyone with a friend in Finance 101 and a handy Texas Instruments calculator can tell you even in the most risky 401k plan where losses are racked up, the 401k retiree will be sipping frothy margaritas in Bali while you line up at the Walmart in Phoenix for the big sale on Shasta Root Beer. Again, in spite of their California Public Educations, the natives are growing restless at the math that proves their non-union peers frolicking with natives in the tropics. However, while the stranglehold holds, the unions have a furious infusion of cash and I doubt they will fold in my lifetime. But believe me, I'll be checking the US news from the sub-equatorial tropical beach when I retire.

A friend living deep in the socialist trenches of France recently pegged me with the question "well if the media is so liberal why aren't they showing pictures of the body bags in Iraq." I replied with a picture from the FoxNews.com home page which showed a seriously injured young girl with her father at her bedside. I offered to PhotoShop a body bag into the picture if that would help... What I failed to do that day was to copy what was simultaneously on the CNN.com home page; my recollection now, several days later, is that it was something like why Benedict chose that name, and later in the day just a picture of an empty Iraqi street. Today, the front page of FoxNews.com is that of a very small child being cradled in the arms of a US soldier, with the caption: "GI comforts a child fatally wounded in a car bombing." My heart aches for this child and his/her family, for the GI there offering the only thing he can—his loving arms. My heart breaks over the fact that someone, a homicide bomber, could and would tear apart precious life limb by limb in this way. Ultimately, it’s to no significant end, either; the line in the sand in Israel has moved what is symbolically just a few inches. If this method was at all effective, Palestine would control the entire middle east, for all the bloodshed caused by their homicide bombers. On the cover of today's CNN.com home page is simply a dour picture of Lynndie England (oh the irony and the humanity). There is a blurb and its corresponding link to a news report on the carnage in Iraq today, but certainly photos. What does this say to me? CNN can't bear to publish these photos or to speak candidly about the carnage because they'd lend credence to the fact that these homicide bombers--not the United States, not Great Britain, not the average freedom-seeking Iraqi, but homicide bombers--are responsible for the death, destruction, and misery in this budding new country (and elsewhere). If the LEFTIST media had any stomach at all for the truth, they would widely publicize the murders. They'd have the guts to show what destruction they wreak on the world without pillow-soft euphemisms such as "the opposition" or "Islamic freedom fighters." MWB Note: I'll gladly email you the two photos, dowloaded within a minute of each other from the respective home pages of FoxNews.com and CNN.com.

Read all about it It first sounds like an odd proclamation; do not allow schools to proactively prepare for terror attacks. But just a passing moment's reflection on the concept shows why. First, by any standard US students score far behind their counterparts. Either we're all stupid or we're all lazy or we're poorly educated. None of these scenarios will be much helped by terror attack preparation. Second, we must fear a government who has the power to instill fear in small children; fear of terrorists and terrorism, fear of bad people, fear of jews. Fear so easily morphs to hatred. No arachnophobe feels anything less for those daddy long legs they happily drown in the shower. The likelihood that any individual school anywhere will be attacked is so microscopically small, any diversion into terrorism prevention, reaction, whatever, is a complete waste. It's nothing short of a money and power grab by some wing, whether left- or right-wing. If this proposition had any sincerity behind it, they would start by advocating the arming of all teachers with guns, as in Israel. It's been quite effective; no Israeli school has ever been attacked. Given that their schools must be the most terror-targeted in the entire world, it seems Isreal's apporach would be the most effective place to start. It might keep a few thugs home as well so the kids could really learn, which would be one solution to problem A presented above.

Read all about it The Dems have only one left foot remaining and they want to shoot it off by nominating Hillbilly for the White House '08? The Dems have lost 7 of the last 10 elections and 3 of the last 5. Let's not waste whitespace on the other offices lost, such as Governors and House/Senate seats. Hillbilly gives one speech without igniting a forest fire and suddenly the media lefties sing her '08 songs (and this is Foxnews I'll have all you commies know). Hillbilly has so many Achilles heels, an enterprising news station could do a 24/7 "Hillbilly Mouth and Foot Malfunctions" feature for an entire election. That includes her horrifying behavior during President Bush's speech to the Senate immediately following 9/11 (rolling her eyes, limp-wristed clapping, laughing). To true liberals, for whom history began yesterday, incidents such as this one don't matter. But to the majority, even many Dems, she's an evile leftist in the truest sense. The list is a mile long: Travelgate, 9/1l Speechgate, lying-about-her-daughter's-location-in-NYC-on-9/11gate, Villagegate, and and and. Serve her up Dems! We'd love a shot at her... The Republicans will pick a stunning candidate, such as Giuliani, who will proffer a whopping punch--especially without a serious contender. Edwards is the Dems only chance to eliminate the buffoon factor they have thus far put forth. Gore? Kerry? Hillbilly Clinton? Are they crazy? The Repubs worst choice (if you don't count Bush who has won 2 elections, so...) in decades was Bob Dole, and let's face it; Billary was unbeatable and Dole was a throw-away. As disposable as Republican toilet paper. Why waste a good candidate like McCain on Billary. If Hillbilly gets into the running, watch the vultures circle; they'll just have to glide above the Dems' carcasses until November 2008 and then they'll have quite the feast. If the Dems lose the next election this blogger predicts the Dems will cease to exist as we know them today. Can leftists who went to California public schools spell "Whig"?

Warning to parents sending their kids off to school; this is the mentality of the university scholar today. For my action-minded bloggers, here's the Colorado State Univesrity at Boulder telephone number, if you want to voice your opinion (I did): (303) 440-9969 If this picture doesn't convince you what a whackjob this "guy" is, nothing I have thus far written will!

Read all about it I really hate to make an example of an otherwise innocent victim, but I can't help myself. I'm sure I'm up for another 2,000 years in pergatory for this one. But only an idiot or a leftist-know-it-all would say something like, "What are you going to do, shoot us?" to a robber who is wielding--what else--a gun pointed at directly at the group comprising the "us" in that question. Thank god the us's weren't all shot, with a mouthing off like that.

Read all about it The latest in an ever longer list of Norman Bates my-mother-made-me-do-it and twinkie defenses, "It was... The pill company!!!" A mental patient murders his grandparents and it's the pill company's fault. Err, what? My guess is the kid is whacked and some family doctor or piseeacheeatrist (my favorite of all Ricky Ricardo mis-pronunciations) slapped him on a pill and now it's the pill company's fault. My guess is even the doctor pill dispensers couldn't see how black this kid's head was, mental patients who don't even know enough not to kill people somehow are clear-headed about being tight-lipped to those who are trying to help them.

Read all about it I think she went down when her brain calculated what her plan for socialized medicine would really cost. Course, she won't admit it...

Thanks to Marla for this one. Read All About It It's horrifying to know that young girls turn to prostitution, and I love the ultimate reality the article points out: the police can scarcely do more about this than the parents can. However, I'm perplexed by the National City police chief's comment that these girls are even coming from otherwise "well-off" families. Have I missed 100 years of history somewhere? Poor parents have the lock on abuse, molestation, neglect? Fat wallets don't buy a ticket on the good ship Loving Parent. Jose Menendez couldn't even stay alive with his wealth and largesse... you hear us down there Jose? We're talking about you! How's that pitchfork in your ass? Michael Jackson, fatcat extraordinaire. Would anyone be the least bit shocked if his kids turned up whoring on East 17th Street? It's a horrible attittude...as long as just the poor girls are whoring themselves out of the horror movie that is their life, well, what're ya gonna do. But when the middle classes hit this barrier, well, shit, now we have a problem... It is a sad fact that there are so many completely defective parents out there. I'm sorry, but Mrs. Flake's daughter didn't just wake up one day and say, man, my life is so good here, my mom is so wonderful, my Banana Republic wardrobe is so great, but I think a life of whoring myself would be even better. Sorry! Mrs. Flake, you're probably a complete asshole, or you're married to one, and my prayers go out to your poor, lost daughter; that she finds a respite somewhere not in your house.

It is with utter sadness I read the conviction of a doctor convicted of drug trafficking while treating patients of chronic pain.

I found an additional bit of information on the topic. We treat patients of chronic pain in 2005 no better than mental patients of 1705. There's a special place in hell for you, Ashcroft.
